Our first ever Solid State release was on Sub Cult Techno. With a long list of support, the Special Series 25 is a two-tracker, “Crystallography” up first, featuring an old school scream cleverly filtered to create some big dancefloor-moments and sweeping percussion to top it off. “Metallurgy” is more stomping, with a heavy-hitting kick and an eerie atmosphere.

Solid State delivers a rocking two-tracker for our Special Series. Consisting of label-boss Aka Carl and U.S.-based Steel Grooves, Solid State is a project that puts together prime-time techno that lights up dance-floors all around the globe. We kick off with “JFK”, a dark and banging track with a rolling bass steadily pushing the track up to an epic rise in the main breakdown. “Compounded” is the second track, with a bit more bounce per ounce. Rides, drum-fills and am amazing vocal keep is on our feet till we filter down to an atmospheric breakdown where a dark synth takes over before a nice, clean and banging drop. Dig in!
